Track & Field - Final Checklist.

The final checklist, if you have all these things then you document is done!!! Monday will be the last day to work IN CLASS.

Assignment due on Wednesday.


Checklist:

  • One document that contains drawings of the 3 techniques and copied in 'ideal pictures'.
  • the drawing document contains your name and a title of the technique that you are describing.

  • a written document that contains a section for each technique.
  • the document starts with your name.
  • the descriptions tell the different between your drawings and the ideal picture.
  • the descriptions also tell the difference between the ideal drawings and your techique videos.
  • the descriptions are detailed and explain the actual technique parts that could be improved

  • all your writing should include paragraphs, linebreaks, punctuation, and correct spelling.

And find the videos that show you doing the three different techniques.

The last part of the analysis is to compare your technique to the 'ideal pictures'.
This means reviewing the videos slowly and a few times until you can clearly see the differences.

In your document add a section that explain clearly what is different in your technique and the ideal. Where can you improve?


Track & Field Technique Analysis - PART 2

Next set of instructions:

Look through the posts on the class website and copy one of the pictures of the ideal technique into your document that has your drawings of the technique.

Start a new Google Doc. Write a description for each technique that highlights the differences between your drawings and the ideal picture. This is the first step of analysis.


Track & Field Analysis Instructions

This project will be a three step analysis of the technique for Shotput, Discus, and Javelin.

You will compare your drawings on the technique with an ideal example of the technique, followed by screenshots of yourself doing the technique.

DAY 1:

  • Open Microsoft Paint or go to Google Drive and Open Google Drawing.

  • You will create three separate documents. You will draw the technique for each event using a series of stick figures. Example below.

  • Draw what you think the PERFECT technique is.


BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE FOR THE SPRINT START. 
THE ONES YOU DRAW WILL NEED MORE PICTURES TO GET THROUGH THE WHOLE TECHNIQUE.
